Compatibility, on three axes

On Geno, attraction matters, but it isn't everything. Your compatibility is measured emotionally, socially and medically, and you set the priorities.

Three axes, one goal: to last

Every suggested profile is assessed on three complementary dimensions. Together they describe an overall compatibility far more reliable than a photo.

Emotional

Interests, personality and values. Personality tests and quizzes help you know yourself better, and recognise the right person.

  • Values
  • Personality
  • Passions
  • Life goals

Social

Age, city, religion, education and lifestyle. Concrete markers for expectations that meet in everyday life.

Medical

Blood type, Rh factor and sickle-cell status, verified by partner laboratories and shared only with your consent.

Sickle cell: knowing your status changes everything

Sickle-cell disease is passed on when both parents carry the S gene. Two healthy carriers (AS) can, without knowing it, have a sick child (SS). Pick two statuses to see the odds for each pregnancy.

Blood type and Rh factor

When an Rh-negative woman is expecting a child with an Rh-positive man, an incompatibility can arise during pregnancy. It is very well prevented with proper medical follow-up: knowing early is already half the work.
