The service
Geno is a serious dating mobile app that connects people based on their emotional, social and medical compatibility. It is published by [Company name] and available on iOS and Android.
Who can sign up
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be single, divorced or widowed and looking for a serious relationship.
- Not have been previously banned from Geno.
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for your account activity. Identity verification (ID or selfie) may be required to access some features.
You can pause your profile or delete your account at any time in the app.
Medical information
Sharing medical data is optional. Compatibility information provided by Geno is general and is neither a diagnosis nor medical advice: talk to a health professional before any decision.
The “Medically verified” badge shows that documents were checked on a given date; it does not guarantee a member's current health.
Code of conduct
- Respect other members: no harassment, discrimination or hate speech.
- Do not impersonate anyone or create fake profiles.
- Do not ask for money or promote products or services.
- Do not post sexually explicit, violent or illegal content.
- Report any suspicious behaviour to the moderation team.
In case of breach, Geno may warn, suspend or delete an account, without prejudice to any legal action.
Free and premium plans
Free access allows a limited number of likes and messages per day. Premium includes unlimited messages, who liked you, personal coaching, a premium badge and more visibility.
Prices, duration and renewal terms are shown in the app before any payment. Payment is by mobile money, bank card or PayPal. Subscriptions bought through the App Store or Google Play follow those platforms' terms.
Your content
You keep ownership of the photos and texts you post. You grant Geno a limited licence to display them in the app for as long as you are a member.
Liability
Geno does its best to provide a safe environment but cannot guarantee members' behaviour or the outcome of a meeting. For first dates, choose public places and tell someone close to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Togolese law. In case of dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any action before the competent courts of Lomé.
